Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using PeriSymptom Tracker ("the app").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

PeriSymptom Tracker is a mobile and web application that helps users track perimenopause and menopause symptoms, hormone/blood test results, and treatments. The app provides:

Symptom tracking with severity ratings
Hormone level logging and visualization
Treatment monitoring and effectiveness insights
Data export for healthcare appointments
A premium subscription with additional features (e.g., unlimited history, advanced analytics)

3. Not Medical Advice

Important: The app is for personal tracking and informational purposes only. It does not:

Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Replace consultation with a qualified healthcare provider
Guarantee accuracy of any insights, correlations, or suggestions

Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions. Do not delay seeking medical advice because of anything in the app.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to circumvent security, or use it for any illegal purpose
You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure

5. Subscription and Payments

Premium features are available via subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Subscription terms, billing, refunds, and cancellations are governed by Apple's or Google's respective policies
Prices may change with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, content, and materials are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to any health-related decisions made based on app data.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
